Why is the number 70 so important?

6 months from now, Israel will celebrate the 70th Anniversary of the Biblical Nation’s REBIRTH on May 14th, 1948. Thus, I believe 2018 will be a very prophetically-significant year. You may ask, why is the number 70 so important? Why is it any more significant than the 25th Anniversary, or the 40th, or the 50th??? While there are many reasons I will give in this article, I believe the main reason is a single word. That word is “GENERATION”.

Rescue of Israel

And unless the Lord had shortened the days, no human being would be saved (rescued); but for the sake of the elect, His chosen ones (those whom He picked out for Himself), He has shortened the days. (Mark 13:20)

According to Prophet Daniel, the last 70th year week is not shortened, so the last week lasts „70 Years of Restoration of Israel from 1948-2018“. This is how Israel is saved. (Daniel 9 and 12). Thank God for the rescue of Israel, because He did not shorten the 7 days (one week), but extended it to 70 years of Israel’s grace. In year 2018 begins the 7th millennium  from the creation of the world until the 6000 years of God. (Time calculation from Adam until 2018)

Nach Prophet Daniel wird die letzte 70. Jahr Woche nicht verkürzt, daher dauert die letzte Woche „70 Jahre Wiederherstellung Israels von 1948-2018“. So wird Israel gerettet (Daniel 9 und 12). Parallel war die „70 Jahre Gnadezeit Jeshua von 4 v. Chr. bis 66 n.
